Lyrics

River

Written By: Tim McMillan

River (T. McMillan)

Verse

Today we’ll kill a part of us, that’s lingered here far too long
Finally step into the place we fear the most
If we get out of here in time, dreams will come alive

What will it take to convince you we’re running out of time?
All our thoughts weighing down
Too heavy to fly

It’s started to feel like the day has come, we’ll swim through the fire

Chorus

I think we both can tell, can feel, this time
Don’t wait for another chance
So cold it sends a shiver
But without this, we’re no longer alive, just fighting through each day
We’ll dive into the river maybe then we will find you

Verse

Spread your wings and drown
The river flows to the sky
Take your last breath
Surrender lose control

Chorus

I think we both can tell, can feel, this time
Don’t wait for another chance
So cold it sends a shiver
But without this, we’re no longer alive, just fighting through each day
We’ll dive into the river maybe then we will find you

Bricks

Written By: Tim McMillan

Bricks (T. McMillan)

Verse

In the blink of an eye, comes an animal out of its cage
Revenge spilling out through his poisonous tongue

The wild fire spreads to each corner of the room
It blows back into his face and no one left in here is spared

Chorus

They now head back
Facing a wall they can’t break through

Verse

A madman caught out
Apologies in the mail
Some will forget, others will not

A scapegoat is born
Sole bearer of blame for more than his fair share

Chorus

They now head back
Facing a wall they can’t break through
They can’t break through

Goat Song

Written By: Tim McMillan

Goat Song (T. McMillan)

Verse

Slowly ran, ran out of time
On a fence in my mind, I’m hiding
Space brothers sing goodbye
Round the bend the circus is dying

Space Brothers sing goodbye
Round the bend the circus is dying

Chorus

A grain of sand, at the empty side of an hour glass
Further apart we grow, and the years they seem like seconds
