Bio

Growing up living a life that many have only seen in old western movies, was a normal day for Tim Montana. Waking every morning and ending every evening by kerosene lantern, Tim learned to entertain himself in other ways. Tim picked up his first guitar when he was six years old and has never considered putting it down.
His natural musical ability, coupled with his country living lifestyle, developed Tim’s songwriting and instrumental talent. Living in remote Montana, enabled Tim to devote himself to his passion of music.
After high school Tim looked outside the hills of Montana and towards the city lights of Hollywood to continue his aspirations in the music industry. Tim applied and was accepted to GIT, part of Musicians Institute. There Tim explored his rock side and developed his style even further. Not only did GIT provide Tim with a new outlet to express his music, but it also afforded him opportunities to meet professionals already in the music industry. It was at one of these opportunities that Tim met one of his guitar heroes Johnny Hiland. During conversations with Hiland, Tim was inspired to continue to follow his dreams of becoming a solo artist and move to Nashville.
While living in Nashville and emerged in the music industry, Tim continued to perform. He has played Evel Knieval Days for the last two years with his most recent performance entertaining a crowd of 15,000. In addition, Tim just finished his debut album “Iron Horse”, which he wrote all original songs. The album had many great local Nashville musicians that created the great sound through out each track. “Iron Horse” was mixed by a Grammy nominated engineer and produced by none other than Johnny Hiland.
Currently, Tim Montana continues to write music, promote his new album, and play for enthused crowds. His appeal is widespread since his songs rang from heartfelt ballads to rock’n country jams. He has a style created by life experiences that others cannot emulate. Tim Montana is definitely a recognized name in Montana with the excessive amount of radio play, and is growing momentum in other areas as well.
