Biography

After spending the mid-00's touring the country fronting the power pop band LUZER, Timmy Sean has spent the last several years growing his beard and recording his first solo cd. Performing nearly every instrument heard on the record (including all of the drums, bass, guitar, percussion, and vocals), Timmy indulges nearly all of his influences, from Brian May of Queen on guitar, to Paul McCartney on bass, to Ben Folds on piano....often in the course of just one song.

Born in the mid 1980's, Timmy grew up in two worlds: the pop world of 90's and the classic rock 'n roll world of his uncles' legendary Beatles tribute show "Long Live The Beatles" (the longest touring Beatles tribute act in the world). Though Tim's songwriting with LUZER pretty evenly mixed elements of both old and new, the scale on his first solo effort clearly leans more towards the sounds of Brian Wilson's "Smile" and McCartney's "Band On The Run", than anything released in the internet age.

With the exception of the drum tracks (which were engineered and produced by multi-platinum producer Kenny Gioia at General Studios in NYC), Tim not only performed 99% of the instruments on the record, but also wrote, arranged, produced, engineered, and mixed the tracks himself...a true "solo record" in every sense of the word.

After leaving his label in late 2012, Timmy Sean relocated to the west coast and started fresh. Immediately following his first acoustic appearance in Los Angeles in spring 2013, Timmy was offered a two-month residency at the legendary Viper Room on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.

Coming off of the buzz from those performances, Timmy Sean and his new live band "The Celebrities" made their full-electric debut in summer 2013, performing at LA's hottest venue The Satellite opening for LA indie rockers (and sometimes Ray Davies of The Kinks backup band) The 88. On his fall 2014 tour, Timmy Sean will be joined by his LA-based keyboardist/vocalist Frankie Pedano (former lead singer of Fat City Reprise), along with NJ's own John Tiedemann (drums) and Michael J. Roxx (lead guitar), and with Philly bassist/vocalist Mike Vivas (Southwork/John & Brittany/Fat City Reprise).

What You Do

Written By: Timmy Sean

You go faster into overdrive
you keep leaving me behind
now I think that I've begun to see
there's nothing here left for me

Last night I dialed your name
and your voice still sounds the same
It seems it's been so long
and you say that you haven't carried on

You keep telling me it's meant to be
but I don't believe in destiny
(whoah oh, oooh oh, ooh oh oh)
And they say I'm a fool not to see
how you just keep on playing me
(ooh whoah oh oh oh)

It's what you do, what you do, what you're doing to me
And now I know I can't live without
What you do, what you do, what you're doing to me

When i look into your eyes
I can see beyond the lies
Well I know that I can't
but I'd still give you all of the world
And you say it's time I recognize
I try and try

It's what you do, what you do, what you're doing to me
And now I know I can't live without
What you do, what you do, what you're doing to me
And everyone says I'm good without
What you do, what you do, what you're doing to me
But I don't know how to live without
What you do, what you do, what you're doing to me

It's not a new day
it's just the same way
I never knew you could be so, so cold

It's what you do, what you do, what you're doing to me
And now I know I can't live without
What you do, what you do, what you're doing to me
And everyone says I'm good without
What you do, what you do, what you're doing to me
But I don't know how to live without
It's what you do, what you do, what you're doing to me
(yeah, yeah)

What are you doing to me, baby
What are you doing to me, baby
What are you doing to me, baby
What are you doing to me

You go faster into overdrive
you keep leaving me behind

There's No Other Way

Written By: Timmy Sean

I don't have the words to say
but I'll still try to find a way
to tell you goodbye
I just take it day to day
search for things that can convey
a reason why

That I can't be there tomorrow
no I can't be there in a day
but if I could, I would
If you understood
I'd simply say
there's no other way

I can't see the road ahead
I'll just close my eyes instead
and think of you
laying home alone in bed
looking at the books I've read
it gets me through

Since I can't be there tomorrow
no I can't be there in a day
but if I could, I would
If you understood
I'd simply say
there's no other way

If I could I would leave here tomorrow
If I could I'd there today
If I could I would, if you understood
I'd simply say
there's no other way
