Tim Woodcock and the ThunderKings is a London, Ont. Canada bluesrock trio that performs the music of SRV, ZZ Top and many classic Blues artists such as Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters. Tim Woodcock is a veteran Canadian blues guitarist with Jim Corbett playing bass guitar and Ed Pranskus on drums.

Biography

The band was formed in the 1980's to perform the music of SRV and played many venues across Canada including Toronto's famous "El Mocombo" club just a few weeks after SRV himself had played the club. Over time the repertoire was expanded to include several ZZ Top numbers as well as classic blues artist's music. Tim Woodcock is a veteran Canadian blues guitarist who started with London's " Little Boy Blue's Band " in the 1970's and went on to tour with several well known blues singers such as " Hock" Walsh of Downchild Bluesband . The rhythm section features Jim Corbett on bass guitar and Ed Pranskus on drums, both played for several years with the Canadian rock band " Thundermug" .
