Tina, In The Green Dress was formed after a casual discussion about music and whiskey was had by the founding members, Aquila Rose and Mr G.W.Alderton one sunny morning in June 2011.
From this faithful meeting a show at the Secret Garden Party was arranged. Songs where written. Music was rehearsed. Appropriate stage attire collected.
With a loving of Tom Waits, a liking of the darker sound of electronica, a need for drums and a sharp sense for the popular song craft, Tina is the sound of a journey.
This sound was honed on audiences over the following months with shows at the Shoreditch Unbound Festival, a night with Club Fandango at the Buffalo bar and a sell out crowd at the Finsbury in north London. All this culminated with a show put on by Tina 'herself' at Platform Bar in London FIelds.
