Bio
Tina Marie Johnson, born October 20, 1980 from Tallahassee, Florida is a gifted, anointed, dedicated, and well-respected woman of God. Tina writes and composes songs to minister to the innermost spirit of mankind. It’s her desire to provide hope for the hopeless and encourage the body of believers in Christ Jesus to establish an intimate relationship with Him.
She is a member of the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church where she currently serves as the choir director for the United Voices of New Salem. She has been a member of New Salem since childhood and has been a positive role and motivational force within the music ministry.
Tina has worked with many several ministries in Tallahassee and the surrounding areas. She has served as Choir Director for the following churches: New Salem Missionary Baptist Church (United Voices of Salem), Elizabeth Popular Springs P.B. Church Mass Choir (where she began at the age of 10), St. Mary P.B. Church and St. Paul M.B. Church Youth Choirs.
God has gifted her to become an anointed singer, musician, writer, and producer. You will agree that she has the Midas touch. God blessed Tina to release her own independent project entitled “Don’t Give Up” in July 2006. That project is a personal testimony that God will reward those who delight themselves in Him and stay in His will.
God continued to give her song after song to encourage those who long for a closer relationship with Him and the freedom to proclaim His mighty acts. So, in effort to obey God and be in His will, Tina released her second project entitled, “I’m Free” in September 2008.
Throughout this project, Tina tells a story of how FAITH alone will help you reach your destiny. Tina’s goal is to make music that the entire world, every age and nationality can relate to. “I want people to be encouraged and uplifted when they listen to my music.”
Tina is multitalented in the area of ushering God’s people into His presence as a musician and Praise and Worship leader. It’s her mission to lead people beyond the comfort zone of praise, but into worshipping God in spirit and in truth.
Tina believes in helping music ministries function and minister to the best of their abilities under the anointing of God. Her motto is “Only what you do for Christ will last and make the difference!!!”
