Tina Lade
Born Tina Ladette Howard, jazz & neosoul singer Tina Lade has been performing for audiences most of her life. A classically trained pianist, Tina began writing and arranging her own music at the tender age of eleven. Being the daughter of a Baptist minister, she grew up playing and singing gospel in her fathers church. Influenced by musical icons such as Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, Aretha Franklin and Phyllis Hyman, Tina has developed her own lyrical flair which is a smooth eclectic blend of jazz, gospel and rythmn & blues.
Tina Lade has recorded with some of the areas greatest musicians including local favorite, Al Chisholm and the On Que Players. Tinas own solo project Emotional has received rave reviews, catapulting her career toward the stars. Recent performances in Miami and Atlanta have put Tina Lade in the forefront of the music scene, establishing her as a national artist.
Tina Lade has a sound that rivals any of the modern-day jazz or neo-soul singers on the circuit, said LaChan Knowles, president of Fresh Concepts Business Management, which represents Tina Lade. There are thousands of singers in the market, but there are very few that have the total talent package like Tina Lade.
