"TIN ALLEY - EVERY TURN"

TIN ALLEY - EVERY TURN
Release Date: 13 October 2007

It may have taken these guys sometime to develop their craft and define their sound, but we are surprised with the results. The Melbourne three-piece act, Tin Alley offers a stripped back, harmonic and melodious rock taht fits somewhere between the Aussie rock icons like You Am I, the grunge era of Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam, and early U2.
With us now presenting another aussie rock album debut 'Every Turn', featuring the band's debut single “In Your Hands”, an energetic song about responsibility. The is certianly an incredible amount of work within this album. Dont forget to check them out at www.tinalley.net

FINAL VERDICT: 4/5

Bio

Tin Alley has worked hard over the last few years to develop their sound and define their image. The high caliber of songs, shows, ability and stability add up to one amazing tight unit that will leave you screaming for more. This act has been in the making for years and no detail has been spared attention. Even from before the band’s inception late last millennium (1998), brothers Jim and Paul had years of experience in playing and writing music. With the addition of showy Pete, Tin Alley was born and is now coming of age.

Jim Siourthas heads up the Melbourne rock-trio with passionate, powerful vocals and guitar work kids will be trying to copy one day. Jim has been playing guitar since 8 years of age and he is a clear example of practice makes perfect – although he may argue with you on the perfection point!

Peter Hofbauer on drums is a performance within a performance. His unorthodox, flamboyant playing style creates a unique character in the band’s sound and is indicative of Tin Alley’s live entertainment value. Fluro lights, a see-thru drum kit, sticks on fire and twirling are amongst his regular exhibits.

Paul Siourthas drives the whole band with his deep and complex bass lines and burns up the equivalent energy of a marathon runner during live shows – if you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of his trademark finger-pointing maneuver.

All in all Tin Alley are a band that keeps it real – there are no pretenses, negativity or ill-will. Tin Alley walk up their own alley because they love what they do. Creating music with passion and flare is what Tin Alley is all about and this is evident in each of their recordings and performances. “It’s about having a blast while belting out some great tunes…” says Jim, as he prepares to hit the stage.

Tin Alley has good songs, image, ethic and attitude to match and will be doing everything possible to give the Australian music loving public an opportunity to share in their dream.

Catch a Tin Alley live show and witness passion through music, feel alive and vibrate, experience energy and eloquence – hear why, see why, and know why!
