She most recently appeared with the Utah Festival Opera Company (UFOC) in the World Premiere staged reading of Larry Delinger’s new opera Talk To Me Like The Rain and Let Me Listen with libretto from the Tennessee Williams’ play of the same name. She will be returning to UFOC next summer to World Premiere the piece with orchestra. With Utah Festival Opera she also appeared in over 35 performances in repertory as a Madrigal Singer in Manon Lescaut, Amneris’ attendant in Aida, Rapunzel in Into the Woods and Geraldine in Gypsy. Her roles include Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan Tutte), Hanna Glawari (Die Lustige Witwe), Nedda (I Pagliacci), Micaela (Carmen), Mimi (La Boheme), Musetta (La Boheme), First Lady (Die Zauberflote) and the soprano solo roles from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and Verdi's Requiem. For her solo performance in Verdi's Requiem at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, the Rocky Mountain News stated: "…Soprano Tina Lovejoy took top honors-– a good thing considering her many crucial moments. She came through with a powerful, clearly focused, expressive voice that soared whenever the composer demanded it-– which was often." Showing her versatility, Lovejoy has recently been seen as Eliza Doolittle with Vocal Arts Symposium, Marian Paroo in The Music Man and as the title role of Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella with High Country Fine Arts. Concert work has included appearances with the Alpine Orchestra, Timberline Orchestra, Denver Opera Company and Walden Chamber Orchestra. Summer festivals include Operafestival di Roma, Tanglewood Institute, American Singers’ Opera Project, and Vocal Arts Symposium. Lovejoy is a recipient of the Adele Adler Grant for Vocal Excellence and District Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions 2006. In addition, Lovejoy has made a foray into the world of composing and recorded a self-produced full-length CD of her own works. Lovejoy was a vocal scholarship student at Boston University and The San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
