"Scenewave: Live Review"

“Definitely a must-see local act this year; just remember to pack comfy shoes.”
Scenewave.com - Scenewave.com

"Triple J Review"

“[From Moments to Memories] Great song with angular guitars all through it. Lots going on here, but it's still totally snappy and tight. Good one guys! 4/5”
Zan Rowe, Triple J - Triple J

"Rave Magazine: Live Review"

“Tin Can Radio keeps energy levels high throughout the entire genre-smashing set and gets the audience (and this reviewer) moshing. I honestly think I may have found my new favourite band.”
Erik K Veland, Rave Magazine - Rave Magazine

"Triple J Review"

“[Hot Trash is a] Perfect little ditty for the summer months. It's got Foals' sensibility but put through the pop wringer. 4/5”
Dom Alessio - Triple J

Bio

Tin Can Radio are a band like no other. Their infectious flavour of synth-driven indie dance music takes unique melodic styling and carries it through discopunk, electro, post-rock, dubstep, drum’n’bass and reggae. This multi-genre approach, coupled with their engaging live performance, has whipped up a whirlwind of support and captivated audiences nationwide.

Tin Can Radio’s series of 2010 single releases have fixed the Nation’s eyes squarely on the 5-piece, with all tracks enjoying TripleJ airplay and rotation on community stations around the country. Their hit single, ‘Hot Trash’, was re-released in May through Sydney based singles-only label ‘Major Label’.

The coming months see Tin Can Radio performing as part of this year’s Valley Fiesta and Brisbane Festival capping the year off with 4 massive shows across the week long Woodford Folk Festival, including New Years Eve and New Years Day.

The band is back in the studio recording their highly anticipated debut LP, kicking off 2011 with a national tour showcasing the live format of this unique album.
