Honest, intelligent, energetic, hybrid rock for the heart, mind, and soul.

In 2008, singer/songwriter veteran and guitar player, Nick Berry, teamed up with drummer/percussionist, Levi Graham, and bassist, Ben Lippe to form the dynamic trio, tinderbox effect. They present original songs marked by infectious melodic hooks, and honest, "heart on your sleeve" lyrics. Holding community service as an essential part of the band's purpose, tinderbox effect has been involved with benefits for a variety of causes, including cancer, child abuse, and healthcare for the underprivileged. They continue to impact their expanding community of listeners with their own brand of intelligent, energetic, hybrid rock.
One of the highlights of 2011, was performing at Evansville's annual Westside Nut Club Fall Festival (the second largest US street festival next to Mardi Gras). The band also worked with recording artist and engineer Zach Grace, at SAFE iN SOUND, on their debut EP titled "the means to cope", which was released September 2011.
