Tiny Machines is a Los Angeles band that blends old with new, electronic with organic, and courage with cowlicks. It's strangely familiar, yet infinitely strange.
Using lush three-part vocal harmonies, the band builds melodic landscapes that are often complex and mesmerizing, and sometimes epic. The live show features an impossible panoply of instruments: vibraphone and glockenspiel, harmonium and recorder, clarinet and computer, guitars and drums.
The band's sound is uncategorizable, unpinnable and unpredictable—both by design and totally on accident.
Tiny Machines is the union of five artists who are powerhouse talents in their own right: Jon “Hobotech” Margulies, April White, Aaron Day, and Jon Levin.
The band lives in the magical hills of California on El Rancho de Las Maquinas Pequeñas, a utopia powered by mini bananas, sunshine fizz, and a giant chinchilla wheel overseen by three Holland Lop bunnies: Evangeline, Cletus and June.Band Members
