Biography

Tired Skies is a country folk and blues project from Medicine Hat Alberta. The project consists of songs written by Jay Bowcott and performed by a number of different musicians. The performances can range from lighter almost bluegrass feels to heavy rock and roll and blues. Jay often is backed by a variety of musicians from Medicine Hat or a few players from Calgary's blues scene. He will be taking a journey into the states this summer to see what he can see in and around Nashville and the delta blues strip. He has recently performed at the Medicine Hat Canada Day festival as well as won an award from the Calgary Folk Festival for his song "Fossil".
