Feeling a bit camera shy

Titanium, an artist signed to Atlanta based independent label - From the Ground Up Records - plans to step up and silence industry critics by showcasing his lyrical ability combined with his energetic stage performances. Thegius "Titanium" Clayton grew up in Atlanta's zone one Herndon Home's housing projects in an area called the Bluff, one of Atlanta's most notorious and dangerous sections. The youngest of four siblings, his story is typical of most young black males growing up in poverty. What makes his story unique is the fact that he has transformed his adversities into lyrics and used those lyrics as a vessel to catapult him out of the projects. Titanium's confident demeanor makes him the poster boy of youthful exuberance. With his energetic shows, commanding presence, piercing light eyes, chiseled jaw and sculpted upper body, the charismatic rapper typically leaves every female in the room wanting a little more Titanium in their diet. His recently debuted single - "She's Fine" – has become one of the most requested songs in Atlanta and is quickly gaining momentum on the radio airwaves. Titanium's album, The Truth Shall Be Revealed, is an open book about his life and reveals a more vulnerable and positive side to Hip Hop music. The album expresses what much of the world does not get to see in the urban community or inner-city -- the valuable lessons that only struggle and pain can teach a person, the positive message that comes from those struggles and the friendships that nurtured him. For Titanium, his music is not about dwelling on the negative aspects of his life but focuses more on the lesson's that he has learned from those experiences and how it has developed him into the man that he is today. His music is about raw emotion, the pain that comes from struggle and the joy that comes with achievement. "A mistake is not a mistake unless you fail to do something about it. I don't have to prove I'm hard when I live it every time I walk out my front door. I'm trying to be a role model for future generations so that they understand that there's more to life than the negative images flashing in front of their faces." Atlanta stand up and critics beware…a new movement in Hip Hop has begun and Titanium is leading the way. Are you ready for change?
