"Up and Coming"

Man, oh man! Do I love me some Titans of Oblivion! The local four-piece (Misters Steven Szwaja, Ron Wesley, Phil Austin, and Ryan Moore) takes all the best parts of heavy, doped-out '70s rock, strips it of any pretentious proggy poop and turns it into a very modern and totally PDX-y sound. We got Jimi Hendrix Hawkwinded into a Led'n Zep sludge fest where members of the Who, Sabbath, and Blue Cheer pop up like the plastic moles in the Whack-a-Mole arcade. Only you don't bop 'em over the noggin with a mallet; you totally rock out to 'em!
- Grant Morris, Portland Mercury - The Portland Mercury

"Live Music! ROCK"

If you love heavy rock, get yourself down to Berbati's tonight for Titans of Oblivion. This local four-piece will give you flashbacks to the golden era of rock'n'roll - big, epic riffs and monstrous, stomping grooves that'll have you banging your head and raising your fists in ecstatic glory. The band has earned comparisons to Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, the Who, and Blue Cheer. Get the Picture?
- Barbara Mitchell, Portland Tribune - The Portland Tribune

Bio

TITANS OF OBLIVION was formed in the fall of 05 by Ron Wesley, Phil Austin and Ryan Moore. The power trio began writing music and jamming on old rock tunes that inspired them as young musicians. Pure blues based rock with a "go for it" edge that is reminiscent of bands like Zeppelin, the Who, Black Sabbath, Van Halen - real rock-n-roll. Enter Steven Szwaja, a vocalist with the essence of a rock god sprinkled into his lungs at birth by the hand of a dark unknown lord rumored to be one of the keepers of the lost Jimmy Page riff. With the power of their combined forces, TITANS OF OBLIVION are the last hope for rock and roll's salvation!
