LONESOME RIDER is the debut solo record from Tito. Produced by Chris Donohue who regularly tours with such notable artists as Emmylou Harris and Buddy Miller, LONESOME RIDER blends elements of country, blues and rock with warm, soulful vocals at the forefront.

The album was recorded entirely in Nashville, TN and features some of the top talent native to that city. Grammy-winning producer Steve Fishell provides pedal & lap steel guitar, Tammy Rogers King who has recorded & toured with the likes of Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood, adds violin & mandolin, Pat Bergeson who has worked with Lyle Lovett, Alison Krauss and Dolly Parton, provides harmonica on the track, Downtown Train.

The foundation of the band is made up of Nashville virtuosos, Chris Donohue on bass, guitar and keyboards, Ken Lewis on drums & percussion, and Stephen Leiweke on guitar.

Before returning to his first love of country music, Tito spent several years as front man to NYC Latin Rock band, ERNESTO. As co-founder of the group, Tito teamed up with music attorney George Stein and quickly began showcasing for major labels. It was Elektra Records (Atlantic) who stepped up to give Tito and ERNESTO a production deal under the guidance of executive Josh Deutsch. The 4-song recording was produced by Ed Tuton and served as Tito’s introduction into the record industry. ERNESTO went on to independently release a full-length album, THE BALLAD OF GORDO YEPEZ and played to consistently sold-out clubs in NYC. While under Elektra’s wing, Tito performed with THIRD EYE BLIND, singing back-up for the group on THE LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN and their appearance at the 5th ANNUAL GQ MEN OF THE YEAR AWARDS at the Beacon Theater in NYC.

Tito’s creative pursuits have also included acting. He appeared on several episodes of the hit drama series, ER as well as guest spots on JUDGING AMY and daytime’s AS THE WORLD TURNS.

The culmination of Tito’s experience in the entertainment industry has enabled him to align himself with exceptional talent. The result is his first studio album, LONESOME RIDER. With a pure love of singing and performing, Tito draws inspiration from fellow artists and the music heroes of his past to create his own organic style.

In addition to performing professionally, Tito also volunteers with The Art of Elysium (http://www.theartofelysium.org), a foundation which brings music & art to children in hospitals throughout Los Angeles.
