Bio

Tito, for 10 years has specialized in flamenco guitar accompaniment of homecoming, this time he worked with major artists and groups of Flamenco dance from Brazil. Was responsible for Musical Direction part Amor Brujo, who was in theaters in the playhouse Palace (now HSBC Music Hall), in Sao Paulo. Praised by critics and public success, the show earned a nomination Tito coveted Sharp 1996 for Best Musical of the year. Between 1995 and 1998, Tito traveled throughout the country as a player and Musical Director of flamenco dance company Al-Andalus, (formed by artists in Brazil and Argentina). In 1999 he lived in Seville, has known great Spanish artists as Gerardo Nunez, Vicente Amigo, broadened their knowledge and won the admiration of local artists for their particular way of composing, mixing flamenco other musical influences. On returning to Brazil, he devoted himself to his instrumental work.

Since 2005, Tito has participated in international festivals of Jazz and World Music, taught courses and workshops at music schools and universities and participating in recordings with jazz artists and Brazilian music and sharing the stage with artists such as Alessandro Penezzi, Sizão Machado, Ricardo Herz, Tiago Espirito Santo, Alex Buck and others.

Born into a musical family in São Paulo capital, Tito Gonzales as early as four years old showed that he was born for music, his mother played accordion, his aunt played the violin, his uncle was a virtuoso guitarist, and his other aunt sang. When he was 12 years, Tito began to devote himself to the guitar, always with the support of their fathers, uncles and cousins.

The interest in flamenco came later. Influenced by his father who was of Spanish origin, in 1991, Tito began to devote himself to study and research of art Flamenca. At the time, to improve their knowledge had lessons with guitarist Fernando De La Rua, a Brazilian who has been shining in the setting of Flamenco in Spain.

In 2002, participated in the cd Flamenco! The Lounge Sessions on Blue Music label. The album reached number one in sales at Fnac São Paulo World Music in 2 years selling 40,000 copies (a record for a CD of its kind Flamenco Instrumental). In the same year, he collaborated on the double album Chrystian & Ralf, Daniel e Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano, and makes participation and musical director at the award winning show "Libertad", the Latin singer Juliano D'Lucca.

In 2003 traveled to Brazil with their first instrumental titled "Instrumental Flamenco", accompanied by Spanish percussionist Jose Fernandez. His songs are in international collections, among them the German Music Espagnhola collection that brings together great artists of today as flamenco Diego El Cigala, Potito and Montse Cortes.
