Tiu is a band from Mallorca formed in 2007 of music-gastronomy, that enables the public to taste the music.
Tiu has developed the "nouvelle music", a musical dish with mediterranean swing songs and cooked and raw lyrics please everyone.
Their first album, Musicogastronomia (music gastronomy) -blau DiscMedi 2008-, is full of Mediterranean flower of salt, fennel and figs with songs as Mis pies (my feet), Calipo (ice) or recepta (recipe).
This quartet of guitar, duble bass, percussion and voice plays the pleasure of making music and songs and dreams of tying food traditions with modernity.
With their second album “Sopeta de brou (broth soup) -(blau DiscMedi 2009- Tiu has developed the “nouvelle music”, a different sound musical dish with a mediterranean swing songs with cooked and raw lyrics please everyone.
Tiu band is recording in february-march 2012 the new album “Pink lady”
