“Listening to TJ Broscoff was a revelation. Imagine listening to an artist like Slaid Cleaves or Brandon Rhyder, an artist with strong melodic songs that have something to say.” -Matt Bjorke/Roughtstock.com - RoughStock.com
“One quote that has been attributed to the music of T.J. Broscoff is that he is an “old soul in a young body.” Listening to his music, I get that sentiment. I’ll even go a step further. Broscoff might very well be the best pure songwriter to hit the genre since Jamey Johnson came to Nashville a few years back.” -Chuck Dauphin/Music News Nashville - Music City News Nashville
“As a young musician in Dallas, TJ Broscoff lost his fledgling career to cocaine and whiskey. After hitting rock bottom, he ditched the drugs and renewed his interest in songwriting. Many addicts will identify with his path in "Ready to Fly," a rugged and honest look at his life.” -Craig Shelburne/CMT.com - CMT.com
“I dig the rasp in his throat, the melodic song and the twinkling, breezy production. Very promising. Send more. " –Robert Oermann, Music Row Nashville/Billboard? - Billboard

Bio
TJ Broscoff is often described as an old soul in a young body. His music and lyrics range from everyday life experiences, to the joy of a new love, to the devastation of finding oneself at the losing end of an addiction. His newest album READY TO FLY brings us full circle to a young man whose hard knocks and deeply set scars reveal a songwriting talent that is both painfully authentic and emotionally robust. Produced by Bill Green, READY TO FLY is an exposed diary that signifies a remarkable journey that most of us cannot imagine. The album had generated much deserved acclaim garnering him a spot on the Texas Music Chart’s top 30 with his first single “Hold” and on the Texas Regional Radio Chart’s Top 30 with his second single “Jamie’s Heart,” and top 30 on both The TMC and TRR charts with his last single "Pillow." TJ was recently nominated for Best New Male Vocalist of the Year at the Texas Regional Radio music Awards. He is also a featured artist on the TV series Troubadour Texas that airs on the NBC and CW Networks. With venue owners phoning in offers for repeat performances and peers deeming him “The Dave Matthews of Texas country,” TJ Broscoff is a gale force wind to be reckoned with.
