TJ Young

TJ Young is a pop/jazz vocalist and musician from Blackwood NJ. Although TJ’s music can be compared to artists like Michael Buble and Josh Groban, he also has years of experience singing musical theater. TJ released his debut EP, “Never Loved,” in the fall of 2014, which was recorded by Heidi Rojas, Ollie Gabriel, and Ryan Pate in Los Angeles, CA.

TJ also released a music video for the title single, “Never Loved” from his EP, which was shot at Starstruck Studios in Nashville, TN.

TJ had the opportunity to perform in front of the celebrity judges on Season 13 of American Idol, and he has recently been performing locally and building a fanbase all over Philadelphia. In addition to performing on live local radio stations and producing his own videos on his YouTube channel, TJ has been spending time writing his own songs on piano and guitar.

“As long as you are doing what you love, it doesn’t matter who is watching you do it,” TJstates. “Nobody should settle and have a ‘Plan B’ in their life. Everyone can accomplish their dreams if they believe in themselves and do what they love. No is not an option!”
