TL Jones started off as a book writer but transitioned into the music industry first as a songwriter for a local Kansas City Artist, BukekaStyle in November of 2015. With BukekaStyle TL Jones wrote a total of three songs. In additional to writing, TL Jones also helped with her branding, image, marketing, PR services, and helped plan big events including the release of her EP entitled "Just Like the Phoenix" in 2017.
After word of her success as a songwriter, she worked with other clients, including Shauna Knapp. A lot of the music has not been released but in 2018 "Choices" written by TL Jones and sang by Shauna Knapp was released via YouTube and was an immediate success.
Although TL has written many songs for many artists she felt as if she was not getting anywhere. So, it was then, in March 2018, that she decided to debut as an artist. She wrote and recorded her whole 5-song EP entitled "No chaser" in three months. She recently released her newest single “Miss Me” late 2019.
