TNC Laid is a 21-year-old artist from Philadelphia, PA. Laid began to develop his rap skills at the early age of 15. His musical influences consist of Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Nas, Meek Mill, Alicia Keys, and Michael Jackson. He first started writing poetry then transitioned into Hip-Hop when his cousin sent him a beat. He gained popularity in his city with tracks such as “Big Amounts, You Know, Madness, and Rich or Famous.” Laid’s most recent project is “Visionary Pack” which consists of two singles, giving fans a sneak peek of what to expect from his major project “Visionary” that’s releasing later on this year. TNC stands for something with a deeper value, “There Is No Competition”. TNC was founded in 2014 by his brother Mike Raw and friend Lil Rob but came to fruition after Lil Rob’s tragic passing. TNC became more than just a movement in 2018 when it was legalized as an entertainment company and became There Is No Competition Entertainment LLC. TNC Ent is home to other artists such as Mike Raw, Will Lo, Dre Loco, and Qua Da Hustla. Laid has performed throughout the country and local places in the tri-state area including Connecticut, New York, Detroit, and Texas. Laid has stepped into the business lane of music by founding his independent music company known as Prime Royalties. The young TNC member is on the verge of breaking through in the music industry and creating history for his team and himself.
