Bio

Toby Madigan is a Pop/Rock singer currently living in Los Angeles, CA. His music is heavily influenced by Top 40 music from pop singer/songwriters to pop/punk bands. His songs like “I Need Somebody” and “The Rest of Me” emulate the intimacy of songwriters like James Blunt, Daniel Powter, Howie Day, and Richard Marx. Some of his faster songs, like “Chatroom Romance,” cross into the territory of the All-American Rejects, Fall Out Boy, Blink-182 and Green Day while still keeping a unique appeal that includes bright vocals and harmonics. Because of this melding of multiple influences the album has been titled “Left Brain/Right Brain.”
Toby is originally from Rogers City, MI (Pop. 4,000) and has been singing and touring with various acts since he was 18 years old. He first appeared in the national tour of the All-American Singers, starred in Jesus Christ Superstar, and was a featured entertainer for Royal Caribbean.
Upon arrival in Los Angeles, Toby was picked up by a pop/rock band called “Branded,” represented by legendary music attorney Owen Sloane, who works closely with him to this day. He later went on to work with producer Christian B. (Celine Dion’s “A New Day Has Come”) and was a songwriter for “American Junior” finalist Chantel Kohl.
Toby Madigan currently performs in the Los Angeles area. He has received numerous awards, such as “Best Lyrics of All-Time (Pop/Punk)” on www.garageband.com. The album, entitled “Left Brain/Right Brain” is due out in April 2006.
