New Country Artist with a Traditional yet Modern Style, Toby Wayne
"I have seen and heard many bands over the past fifteen years as a DJ on radio, and in nightclubs. In all that time, I have seen a very select few that brings something more to the stage than just note perfect cover tunes. Toby Wayne and Distant Thunder is one of those bands. Sure, they do a fantastic job with the covers, but they also put there own spin on them and make them their own. Nothing crazy, just enough to know when you hear a cover, you know your hearing Toby Wayne's version. Add to the mix, that Toby Wayne's original music is as good as anything you hear on contemporary Country Radio these days. They give you the best of both worlds.
JOE SPLAWN and KRIS JAMES provide solid vocals, and are extremely talented singers on their own, with the tight musicians that complete the band, you now have a definite musical force on stage that demands to be heard!
