A perfectionist in her craft, Tocarra is an outstanding writer and has received recognition for her writing abilities by ASCAP (ASCAP Writers Session Live). Top producers like Rico Love (Usher, Beyonce & Jamie Foxx ), Jagged Edge, and Great Scott (Rihanna and Chris Brown) have all had the pleasure of working with her. Tocarra has used her creativity to collaborate with top artists like Usher on his current album, “Raymond vs. Raymond”, the song entitled "Daddy's Home" (Hey, Hey, Hey Daddy!), which topped the Billboard Charts at number 3 and with international Latin rapper, Pitbull's new single, “Dance With Me”.
Aside from music, Tocarra is also passionate about her work with youth and particularly young girls. Tocarra has traveled to Biloxi, MS to perform and speak to over five thousand teen girls at the annual Saving Our Sisters Community Event held at The Coast Coliseum. An event supporting abstinence, education and positive influences of young girls. In her role on the Board as Music Ambassador, Tocarra travels to Raliegh, North Carolina in her support of the Music 4 Hope Foundation to give her time and talents to its fundraising efforts to support families with children facing Cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Tocarra also travels to high schools to encourage youth to stay in school and complete their education.
As she continues to write record and build a definite buzz, Tocarra introduces a whole new world of music, style, and presence. Tocarra landed a spot as the 3rd Place Contender from thousands who entered for the National Budweiser Superfest Talent Search; Touring the US and opening up for national acts like Jazmine Sullivan and Nicki Minaj and gracing large stages like the Bronner Bros Hair Show. Executive Producer of her own Reality Show, "Make A Way" and next summer's launch of her new line, "The House of Van Miller Presents Little O' Me!". This coming November, 2011, Tocarra will be recognized in the Who's Who in Entertainment as the independent artist on the rise. You can indeed find Tocarra, because she is Everywhere!
