Tod Allyn and Donna

I've been singing an playing since I was a kid and picked up the ukelele, progressed to tenor banjo, guitar, mandolin and finally, 5 string banjo. Early influences include: Jerry Jeff Walker, Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, Bob Dylan, John Prine, Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Johnny Cash, Bob Wills and Nancy Griffith. We probably fit best into the Americana genre since we range from folk to county and a little acoustic blues.

Been writing since the late 70's when I met Donna. She never seemed to be able to get into it. Finally, we figured out that changing the key allowed her to sing in her range. Off we went and don't intend to stop any time soon.
