Todd Edwards & the Depressionaires

A true songwriting tour de force with the reckless swagger of a pirate ski-bum and the sensibility of a mountain climber, Todd Edwards has carefully nurtured his trade as an alt-country artist & songwriter over the past decade. His performances are an eclectic range of singer/songwriter and full blown alt-country & americana wonderment.

Honing his craft in small venues, coffee shops, universities and ski-towns across the Eastern US, Todd has written and composed a repertoire of over 120 original songs. This is simply unmatched by many contemporary recording artists and songwriters. It is exactly this prolific songwriting and unique stage presence that sets Todd apart from all comers and makes him an artist to watch in 2012 and beyond.

Last year, Todd booked serious time in a major Pittsburgh recording studio to record his first full album under the name of "Todd Edwards & the Depressionaires". The resulting rustling record, "Love Songs of the Monongahela River Valley" (released March 2nd, 2011), is an homage to the northbound rebel Monongahela River and her surrounding mountains & valleys that have so guided Todd towards his unique sound and trade.
