Todd's musical world ranges from his own songs filled with unique and often bizarre poetry, to traditional tunes and songs from the British Isles and America. This combination, often blurring together into a singular and altogether new style, is the result of years spent absorbing and interpreting all forms of folk music.
Todd joined Boiled In Lead in 1985. He recorded and toured with them for eight years, finally parting ways with the band in 1992. He hit the road, playing pubs and clubs, releasing two albums of his own. At the band's invitation, Todd rejoined Boiled In Lead in 2005, and has contributed songs and tunes to a new Lead CD. He is continuing his solo work, making joyous, raucously eclectic folk-noise and original music.
