Bio

Based in Denver, Toddy Ivy is a group with an eclectic sound, fronted by local artist Toddy Walters.

Performing for years in Los Angeles and Denver, Walters has released several albums and boasts numerous collaborations with internationally known entertainers. Previous albums include Grotto, produced by Kyle Jones and Phil Hegel at Brotherhood Studios in Denver, which showcases her wide vocal range and lyric ability, Planet Satsuma, produced by LA based producer Bernhard Penzias which took her sound to new level and highlights her alternative/pop sound. Most recently, she collaborated with film composer Mark Kilian on a project called The Gravy Street, co-writing and singing on the 5 song EP released in 2012 entitled There We Are.

Walters’ past collaborations include an international tour on vocals and guitar with heralded trance and electronica stylist BT (Brian Transeau); numerous collaborations with commercial and ambient music producers Paul & Price, a six-song demo produced by former Jefferson Starship member Pete Sears, backing studio vocals on Better Than Ezra’s Closer, and, most recently, vocals on the score for John Carpenter’s latest movie, The Ward.

Before embarking on her music career, Toddy studied acting at CU Boulder. While there, she met longtime artistic partner Trey Parker and starred in the Parker/ Matt Stone cult favorites Cannibal: The Musical and Orgazmo. Walters also wrote songs and voiced various characters for Seasons One and Two of South Park and voiced the character of Winona Ryder in the feature film South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.
