Tofu Robots

The producer and DJ duo, Tofu Robots, began in April 2011 when long time friends Alan Rodriguez and Isaac Ali decided to collaborate on electronic dance music. The two had previously joined forces in a rap-rock duo a few years prior. Alan is a hip-hop lyricist and producer while Isaac is a guitarist and songwriter. The focus was simple: create catchy and energetic vocal house music utilizing many talented singers for variation. The result was a fusion of hip-hop, dance and house music. The music they produce and play has a uniquely melodic but upbeat tone that catches an audience and keeps them captivated. Tofu Robots not only composes original music but they remix up and coming artists such as Meiko and IAMEVE.
Tofu Robots is responsible for creating Electro Valley Nights, a monthly event showcasing themselves and other up and coming EDM artists. The purpose is to allow fans of EDM a venue away from the overcrowded scenes of LA and HOllywood. Quietly located in Sherman Oaks, Coda Bar and Lounge is where Electro Valley Nights calls home. Apart from the music, visually, the group is synonymous with their original creations of light up LED headphones and the use of "stunna" shades. They bring good music and energy to the their shows and the people listening. Tofu Robots wants to reach a level of success that their inspirations Deadmau5 and Kaskade have accomplished: internationally acclaimed electronic music producers and performers.
