To Kill A Monster

Several years ago, members from two separate high school bands joined together to create what is now known as To Kill A Monster. Hailing from Marysville, OH, with an average age of 22, TKAM is nearing the release of their first EP titled “Bears Fight Bears.” With influences such as The Offspring, Eve6, Weezer, Head Automatica, Monty Are I and many more, they are quickly gaining fans all over. The original and current members of the band include, Joey Lawson, Dane Hendren, Mike St. Laurent and Tyler Dewalt. After a couple amicable departures and a few additions, TKAM eventually found a line-up that suited them best, consisting of Hendren playing bass, Lawson providing vocals, St. Laurent behind the drums and DeWalt on guitar. To Kill A Monster is a great group of guys who are truly appreciative of their fans. It’s important to communicate with your fan base, and TKAM does just that. They are totally approachable and seem very willing to interact with their fans to any extent. They’re friendly and fun but know when it is time to get serious. With many shows under their belt so far, they have the experience and drive to accomplish what they dream of. Great things are coming in the near future for To Kill A Monster, it’s time to jump on the bandwagon.
