3 studio albums recorded, a number of national hits released over last 5 years.

Now they are ready for Europe with new English language album (will be finished in a month).


The band was created in 2002. First success came to them in 2006 when TOKIO debut album was released. Pomogi mne song became really huge national hit and leader of downloads in Russia and ex-USSR countries.

The same year TOKIO got RMA MTV prize as “The Best Rock project of 2006” and became a winner in “The most stylish band of Russia” nomination.

The band was the first Russian group who participated in cult Need For Speed game soundtrack. Dogonim song was included to Need For Speed Shift in 2009.

A few songs were used in very popular Russian feature films “9 rota” (9th Company), “Zhara” (The Heat) and “Obitaemy ostrov” (Inhabited Island).

TOKIO shared one stage with Massive Attack and Tricky, performed in London and India, participated in a number of biggest Russian open-airs like Maxidrom and Megahouse.

The new English language album is almost finished, to be released Spring 2011.
