Tokyo Savannah is an up and coming Rock & Roll band that was born from the punk rock scene in São Paulo, Brazil. Founded by the extremely talented Chico Mitre (guitar/vocals) and Joni Hurricane (bass), the band was completed with the addition of rhythmically masterful drummer Caio Casemiro. The band's music is influenced by rockabilly, punk rock, reggae, funk, alternative 90's and 60's garage, what can be easily identified when you listen to any of Savannah's songs. Their first album was released in 2011, and produced by Jesus Sanchez, a renowned indie producer in Brazil, and it was recorded the way they do best: live. Since, they have been performing in famous festivals throughout Brazil, including Lollapalooza. Recently, they have released a new album called "Straight to Heavy". As well as other band material, both albums are available for free download on the https://tokyosavannah.bandcamp.com.
