Smooth is new from Easel Ramport produced by Nick Arcade. Smooth definitely lives up to its name. Rampart lays absolute flame and Arcade made sure the beat was amazing. Somehow between listening to the 11 minute Daft Punk remix of Get Lucky and checking email, soundcloud just randomly turned on this guy’s music and I stopped everything to listen. It’s rare that one hears anything new and I feel like said occurrence just happened and woke me out of my 1:30am insomniactic stupor. The combination of Easel Rampart’s aggressive, rock like flow and Nick Arcade’s eclectic groove production was such a breath of fresh air. Tom Moore is an emerging rapper out of Chicago. With a heavy focus on dense lyrics accompanied by a sharp delivery, he is out to prove himself as a poignant song writer. With Production handled entirely by friend and collaborator Nick Arcade, his debut album entitled "Awake For Now" is the first step in that process.
