"If you agree that Nick Drake was really separated at birth from his twin Kurt Cobainn who played with Elliott Smith and took lessons at Tim Buckley's famous Danzon Bolero School... (together with Eddy Vedder and Morrissey) Tomas Ciampi is who you are looking for.

Biography

I lived in Egypt for six years, and this took me away from professional playing for a while. I came back to Italy and I noticed it's a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll, but I am not discouraged and keep making my music with english lyrics.

I make my own gigs both guitar and voice and with my band. I am influenced by Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Eddy Vedder, Chris Cornell, Morrissey, Jeff Buckley, Elliott Smith, The Beatles. I have been compared to Tim Buckley, Nick Drake, Morrissey and Eddy Vedder.

Lyrics

It Took A Long

Written By: Tomas Ciampi

It took a long to meet you baby
It took a long to see you naked

In the daytime, in the night time
You are shining bright

And when I see you at the sunset
I reconsider all my mindset
Baby, tell me, you love me

And now I sing this song for you
As a matter of fact it makes me blue
I have no words or gestures to express my very best to you,
to you, to you

It took a long to stay with you
It took a long to make it through
Darling, charming, oh feel me!

And now I sing this song for you
As a matter of fact it makes me blue
I have no words or gestures to express my very best to you,
to you, to you

Now I feel the time has come
Kiss me... nightly...
Hold me close don't ever let me go

It took a long, it took a long, it took a long to meet you baby...
In the night time, in the day time, you are shining bright!

And now I hear this song from you
As a matter of facts it makes me blue
I have no words or gestures to express my very best to you,
to you, to you

Natural As Play

Written By: Tomas Ciampi

Should you make again the same mistake, run away
Better pay to play, once again
And be natural as play
Should I make again the same mistake, I'll forsake
I will pay to play once again
And be natural as play
Let me be in love, let me be in love again
