Tom Bradley

I grew up by the sea, and my countless days in it and next to it are the largest influences on my music making.I love to sing with soul, and I love to write songs that give people, including myself, a happy escape. Because after all, music is just about escape really, isn't it?

Hailing from the south coast, Tom Bradley blends his laid back beach sounds with his soulful vocals, drawing comparisons to the likes of Jack Johnson and Paolo Nutini. His songs range from reggae tinged summer anthems, to harmony-laden Fleetwood Mac throwbacks. Growing up by the sea and surfing with his friends, his surroundings have had a profound influence on his music and lyrical approach, with nature and maritime imagery being prevailing themes, whilst also documenting a certain ‘coming-of-age’ story of growth, love and heartbreak.

Having headlined London venues such as The 100 Club, Bush Hall and Notting Hill Arts Club, and supported established acts including Finley Quaye and Will and the People on a sold out European tour (including Amsterdam Paradiso), his fan base is quickly growing in the UK and abroad. Recently in the studio Tom has worked with the likes of Guy Katsav (Noah and the Whale, Laura Marling, The View), Jarrad Hearman (Katy B) and Beni Giles (Marcus Foster).

The live experience is an up-beat sing-a-long affair, with tender acoustic moments, revealing a somewhat darker side. But make no mistake, this is a sound designed for those long lost summer days. Recent single "For Love" available on iTunes now; and a much anticipated EP scheduled for release in 2013.
