Tom Courtney is a singer and guitarist who plays traditional and contemporary Irish and American folk music. Tom's touch is magic, and his ideas and execution are flawless. Superb musicianship and a strong sense of tradition have made him one of the most polished and entertaining artists on the circuit.
Born in Dublin, Tom broke onto the Boston Irish music scene in 1991 and quickly became a tremendously respected guitarist/singer among musicians and fans alike. He mixes elements of Celtic music with Bluegrass, Folk and Country.
Tom has appeared at numerous venues in the U.S. as well as across Europe and Asia, including performing for the Hilton and Westin Chosun Hotel Chain and at many prestigious venues, such as Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Center where he played for the President of the United States during his inauguration back in 1993.
His performances are tailored for each specific venue ranging from clubs, coffee houses, Celtic festivals, concerts, pubs, restaurants, private functions and weddings. Tom's sound and style are unique
