Next To You

Written By: Tom Dempsey

If I could travel down a road that leads to something true
That's the road that would take me right next to you.
If I could find a place on earth where love shines brightly through
That's the place where the sun shines next to you
A place where we could find, total peace of mind
Where happiness and greatfulness intertwine.
And in this place you'll see, a life of serenity
Full of all that nurtures love tenderly.
If I could paint a portrait of my life in perfect view
I'd paint a picture of me, right next to you.
