Bio

Tom DuFore has been writing and performing since he was a young boy. He has always had a passion for expressing himself through music and sharing it with others. He began his career through his church as a member of the youth hand bells and choir. By the time he was in High School it was clear that Tom was a natural born performer and songwriter, having written his first composition at age 15. He has always enjoyed being a solo artist and performing with the harmonic acoustic sounds of a guitar or piano and a voice.

His performance career had its humble beginnings at his small congregation church, which eventually led to performances in front of crowds of thousands. Tom has been featured as a soloist at the Chicago Shedd Aquarium during a fundraiser for Chicago's Fire Fighters and has also performed as an opening ceremony guest artist for John Jacobsen's, America Sings, a show choir camp for young children. Tom DuFore has also performed as a solo artist at the Showchoir Camps of America Talent Show at Heidlberg College. Showchoir Camps of America is the world's longest running show choir camp and is regarded as the best show choir camp in the world.

Tom DuFore has also sung as a choir member for Linda Eder at her Christmas concert at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago and also sang as a choir member for Howard Shore's "The Lord of the Rings Symphony" at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago. He has performed on NBC Channel 5 Chicago's Easter Special "A Different Drummer" with the Elmhurst College Choir. More recently, Tom DuFore has been a guest artist with a local Chicago band called, The FranBand.

Tom is thrilled to have recently completed his first album with John Szymanski, the world's most talented musician and studio engineer. Tom is in the process of putting together his second album and hopes to have it finished more quickly than "I Wanna Tell You."
