"A testament to the power and glory of American music"

*Let’s Put It to Music is one of the most pleasant surprises of the year for me.... a brilliant combination of gorgeous music, smart lyrics, and more-than-capable musicianship. ...all about the craft of songwriting; a testament to the power and glory of American music. It’s organic, raw, stripped-down-to-its-barest essentials art. ...(it’s) something I plan on listening to for a very long time. (Aaron Bragg, Indie-music.com) - Indie Music.com

"Make that pretty great"

*I heard a few snippets from his new, self-released album earlier in the week and thought it sounded pretty good. After hearing him live at the Canal Arts Center in Roanoke Rapids Friday night, make that pretty great. (Lance Martin, Daily Herald) - Daily Hearld

"New CD from Tom Eure"

*Full of spot-on coed harmonies and Eure's tasteful acoustic guitar playing (and electric guitar playing, bass playing, drumming, mandolin, banjo, fiddle and piano), the album is a mellow melter, full of languid lamentation and
easy shuffles.

"Live Review"

”Whether Eure strummed his acoustic guitar or accompanied it with the wailing harmonica, the music had the strong, full sound of a complete band.” (Jennifer Layton , Spectator Magazine) - Specator Magazine

Bio

Americana singer/songwriter, Tom Eure, got his start in the music business in 1991 while living in the mountains of NC. During his time there Tom played solo folk shows, hosted open mics, fronted bands ranging from psychedelic to pop rock, and played bluegrass and old tyme music with friends on his off days. This seasoned troubadour offers up a sound that's steeped in roots and honesty.

With his fourth and latest CD "Back Woods," Eure delivers his best and most accessible work yet. Tom has performed at top venues like The Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville, CBGB's Gallery in New York City, festivals through out the South, and has opened for some of the best acts in the biz, including the great James McMurtry, Chris Smither, Two Dollar Pistols, Verlin Thompson, Jeff Black, Thad Cockrell, Scott Miller and the Commonwealth, Greg Trooper, and Tom's musical hero, Warren Zevon.

Audiences can tell Tom is at his best when performing. He is truly at home on the stage -- his humble, comic demeanor has earned him a devoted following. Although Tom Eure's music doesn't necessarily fit into a clearly defined category, that's a good thing, because neither do people.
