In a Faithless World - Soul Fisher 1995

Tom Giusti moved to Cincinnati from Sacramento, CA in the summer of 2006. Tom was a veteran of several rock bands in the Northern California area. From 1990 – 1991 Tom attended and graduated from Musicians Institute/GIT in Hollywood, CA and spent most weekends playing acoustic shows in Hollywood, San Diego and Burbank.

In 1994-1997 Tom was a member/founder of national independent recording Artist “Soul Fisher”. Soul Fisher recorded it’s debut full length album “In a Faithless World” in the Spring of 1995 and toured behind it in the Summer of 95’, playing venues between Seattle, Wa and Rochester, NY. Soul Fisher was an acoustic/unplugged type of format, but Tom's feisty, percussive guitar style brought an urgency to SOUL FISHER's sound that surprised those who wrote off music which includes acoustic instrumentation as "laid back" and "insipid".

Since moving to Cincinnati in 2006, Tom has performed at various venues, coffee houses and clubs performing songs from artists such as Keith Urban, Clay Walker, Daughtery, Bon Jovi, Tom Petty and Lifehouse, to name a few. In September of 2007 Tom was chosen as one of eleven finalists for the Fifth Third Bank American Idol Contest to help raise money for The United Way. In May of 2008 Tom was chosen 1 of 7 finalists by Cincinnati Country Station B-105, out of over 500 entries, for the 2008 Colgate Country Showdown.

“I grew up listening to rock, playing in rock garage bands and wanting to be a rock star. Over the recent 3-5 years I have become a fan of Country Music, what Country music has become and what it is evolving to. I have been drawn to the passion of artists such as Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town and Lady Anebellum. The song writing, musicianship and “edge” that these artists bring have made an impact on this ROCKER”.

Whether it’s just Tom and his acoustic guitar or the Tom with “the band” you will be well pleased with his musicianship, vocal ability and overall performance. Tom will definitely be a great addition to any venue.
