Bio

Originally from a small town, North of Detroit called New Baltimore, Tommaso Antico is a rising star. Music has always been a huge part of his life coming from “Rock City” but his inspirations growing up came from the classic Motown. His first memories of music is when his father would gather the large family of six with Tommaso being the youngest, and sing Motown oldies. He then started to sing at the ripe age of seven and then moved on to play instruments at age ten.

After eighteen years of living n Michigan, Tommaso decided to take his career to the next level. He then left everything and moved to New York City by himself to study music at a conservatory in Manhattan.

After Graduation he continued to perform Nationally and Internationally across the world as a musician. He recently returned and is now playing his original music is famous music venues in Manhattan such as The Bitter End, C.B.G.B.’S, The Lion’s Den, The Soul Café and Dillon’s on 54th St.

His music is from the soul. The heart filled lyrics and his smooth controlled voice takes you to another place when you hear him sing. The performances are gentle and handled with care. He releases each song as if it was the first time he sang it and was making it up as he went along. He closes his eyes and loses himself in his music and invites the audience to do the same by applying his vague, yet specific lyrics to their own lives. With his deep rich sound and his sustained falsetto, he has been compared to the incredible Tracy Chapman and Jeff Buckley. His only wishes are to save the music. He hopes to continue to inspire people just as he was inspired through the power and magic of beautiful music.
