Tom Charchuk has lived in and around Leduc, Alberta Canada most of his life and is an accomplished singer/songwriter both has performed sucessfully as a rock artist and country artist. He is influenced by some of the greatest past and modern day singer/songwriters. His sounds are a blend of high energy interpretations with a touch of yester-year and a breath of modern day sounds.No matter what genres he performs, he wows the audiences with his song interpretations.
He learned to play the bass guitar at an early age and as the years went by, he was able to learn from those he listened to, took music lessons and perfected his unique vocal styling. His vocal style is somewhat like that of Brad Paisley and other contemporary Country Rock Singers.
His songs have been released in complilations to include, Plush Records a "Cotton fields to Nashville" a tribute to Johnny Cash; "Wagon Masters Music Group" in two released albums "Tribute to a Legend and The Legends Glittter On". His song "Met her in a Park" receives airplay both in Ontario and Quebec,Canada. Another song "Read Your Letter" reached top honours on Music World Radio, and remained on the European Alternative Top Twenty for four months. He has won acclaim for his song "Why Are You A Storm" which was featured on American Bandstand several times. In January 2013, American Bandstand promoted his song at the Midem Music Convention held in France.
Several months ago Tom released a video on UTube, performing his hit "Pushed My Life" which has been viewed over 2000 times.
In the summer of 2013 Tom signed a single song recording and promotional contract with the American Bandstand Record Label. It is due for release later this year.
The song forthcoming on American Bandstand Records is on a tribute album to the late George Jones featuring the "Jones Boys" .
