"TOMMY COMA: 4 SONG DEMO GRADE:A"

Tommy Coma starts the assault at the first moment of “Set Ablaze” and this demo continues to hold you captive until the final note of “Tied Down” has died. There is an exceptional mix of harmony, melody and brutality here. Do those three words go together? Well they do when describing this release, that’s for sure. The band has a knack for mixing fast riffs ala Slayer and Machine Head into a fury of rock-solid grooves reminiscent of Prong or White Zombie. Fans of Carcass, Obituary, Living Sacrifice and any of the other bands mentioned, will succumb to the ways of the coma here. I for one am looking forward to hearing more from this band in the future. If you like ‘take no prisoners’ types of hard and heavy music then you should slip into Tommy Coma. Be sure to visit the bands web site to get information on how to get a free copy of this CD. (For a limited time I believe…Tell them The Audio Nut sent you!) - The Audio Nut - Music on Entertainmentnutz.com

"Music Review: Tommy Coma"

When I first heard of Tommy Coma we thought "Oh God, not another local band!" Becuase lets get real, how many local bands have you heard that were actually good? How many local bands have actually made it to the big time? Not Many! And especailly if they are from the smallest state in the U.S, Rhode Island!

I was browsing to myspace.com one day and I came across Tommy Comas band profile, and they said they were giving away free CD demos (which to my knowledge they are still avalible) and I thought, what the heck its free. In a few weeks I got my demo in the mail and popped it into the CD player..what I heard blew me away! I seriously have not heard a local band that good before! I was beyond impressed! For a few days straight I had that demo on reapeat!

Their sound has metalcore written all over it! If you like Killswitch Engage, Hatebreed or Unearth, you will LOVE Tommy Coma!

So if I were you, I would get up your fat ass and request a demo! Or atleast visit their fucking site! Their are only a few bands in this world that make it in the big time, and damnit I know talent when I see it! (or hear it rather!)
