"Tommy writes beautiful songs- plain and simple, love songs and protest songs. Think John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Donovan. Listen for him." -Village Voice

Biography

"I've been writing songs on the acoustic guitar since I could play it, which was around age 13. I've been back fourth to the city and the country over the last 8 years and the only thing that has remained by my side was my guitar and my songs."

Lyrics

Time Rushes In

Written By: Tommy Eisner

I know a pretty scene's
going down on the hills
of the last diamond ring
that you sold for a thrill.

The sun sets slow
on the foot of your heals
as time rushes in.

So, lets go all slow
cause everybody knows
that time rushes in.

The way those tall trees sway,
I'll lay in them all day,
throwing rotten eggs down on you.

Oh the pleasures that we found playing games widdle down
to the size of a pin
that's arranged on the sky.

If you catch my eye,
don't let me pass you by,
time rushes in.

Through the sun and rain,
the storm clouds or fog,
time, time, rushes in.

The way those tall trees sway,
I'll lay in them all day,
throwing rotten eggs down on you.

I heard a pretty song
blowin' out on the wind that delivered a kiss
from my lips to your grin,
the road that ends
some would say just begins,
cause time rushes in.

Nice To Feel Free

Written By: Tommy Eisner

Twisted up flowers fall
The sun, so low it calls
Nice, nice, nice to feel free

Wilted down petals cling
Inside your tattered throat that sings
It is nice, nice, nice to feel free

Lost on a mattress
Pricked by a cactus
Gold red and white

Over the blue rainbow lies
A golden crown inscribed
It is nice to feel free

But you must travel the valley low
Before you put it on and so
It is nice, nice, nice to feel free

Kid lost an hour
Kissed by flower
Gold red and white

Flapping on pale white sky
So loud the blackest crow could cry
It is nice, nice, nice to feel free

THE LONESOME ASCENT

Written By: Tommy Eisner

THE LONESOME ASCENT

Turn up the noise
Lay down your voice
Pay back your school
Working the years the years should be working for you.

They cut you and bleed you
Teach you to keep you
From doing what they couldn’t do
Have you ever a dream everyone told you to never persue?

Where do you think I’ll be soon?
Where do you think I’ll be soon?
The whole lonesome ascent was just to meet you.

Raindrops erode
A pyramid stone
A river once ran through you
To carry a seed the to the garden for flowers to bloom.

Our bleeders and breeders,
Our infamous leaders
Whom our camera makes look tall,
Who carried a plane into a wall for towers to fall.

Where do you think I’ll be soon?
Where do you think I’ll be soon?

The whole lonesome ascent,
The whole lonesome ascent
The whole lonesome ascent was just to meet you.

Everything they said
Put me right to bed
Tell me was it hard?
Tearing me apart?
