Tommy Lockhart is a hungry independent artist on the grind.

This gifted and insightful EMCEE got his start at age 9 battling cats on inner city streets.

He embraced Hiphop and never let her go.

His style and flava were impart influenced by artists like James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Run DMC, LL Cool J, KRS ONE, Public Enemy, Eric B. & Rakim to name a few.

Hood life, though dangerous and seductive; relinquished codes, tutorials, and lessons that kept Tommy Lockhart from being a mere statistic and fueled his life’s purpose: to entertain, educate and empower.

The adventures of Tommy Lockhart extend from the rugged streets of Brooklyn to a short lived college experience at North Carolina A&T, to serving time in the Army, to various parts of Florida, Atlanta and his current residence Compton.

Life experience enables him to flex confidence and emotion while putting everything going on in the hood into perspective.

His lyrical dexterity, cryptic street tales and timely yet timeless songs exude the essence of Hiphop.

Tommy is completing his 10 track album titled The Agenda and performing locally with The Labor of Love, Vision on keys, Cosmo on drums, Steve on bass, and Mr. X a.k.a Da' man on guitar .

As Co-Founder and CEO of 1st Love Records, Tommy has committed himself to go “balls to the wall” independently pressing, promoting, marketing and selling his own records.

Rather than shopping demos, hoping to get discovered or waiting on a record deal; this fearless charismatic seasoned beacon of light will no doubt pave his own way to the top.

With his compelling video “Just A Rhyme” (directed by mastermind Dan Kiger) and soulful cuts like “Most Valuable Gift” arranged and co-produced by Vision, Tommy Lockhart is undeniably destined for great things.
