Tom Puwalski and The Atonement

The Atonement's musical mission is to bring live Klezmer music to audiences while breaking down the traditional barriers that exist between musical styles and genres. Klezmer Music is a genre that sprang from the Chasidic Jewish community of Eastern Europe. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, in steamer trunks and in hearts of immigrants, it made it's way to the shores of America. As modern interpreters of this traditional music, The Atonement hears the old and makes it new, always being faithful to the original "Mojo" that make klezmer music hip two centuries ago.
