Bio

If you were to take a little James Bond, Bob Marley, Chuck Barris (yes, of the Gong Show!), and Jackson Browne, put 'em in a blender; the resulting concoction would be Tom!
Knowing that "ETA: Manana" had to be a step-up from the freshman release, "Sunemployment," Tom consulted with his friend and Northwest music-guru Terry Currier for session Sun Dogs and studios. Tim Ellis joined the crew (lead guitar and co-producer); Bobby Torres (congas); Jeff Anthony (drums - also drum tracks on Sheryl Crow's "Soak up the Sun"); Paul Brainard (pedal steel); Bill Berrian (bass) along with others to create ETA: Manana. Rob Stroup joined the crew for drum tracks on "ETA: Manana" and "Life Under Sail". Tracked at Dead Aunt Thelma's (Portland, OR) by Mike Moore; mixed at the Kung Fu Bakery (Portland, OR) by Bob Stark; mastered at Sterling Sound (NY, NY) by Dominick Maita.
Per the live shows, that is where the true colors of entertainment surface! Tom acknowledges that he wouldn't be on the stage without the crowds and fans, and he appreciates them. The vibe is fun and easy-going - with the humor shining through!
Conclusion: live shows or the playing the CD, Tom is consistent with his product!
