“I wanted to tell the story of what got me into the music.” Explains ToneVizion in regards to his latest EP.

Interdimensional Wanderlust by Indianapolis producer, ToneVizion, released on December 21. The experimental bass and glitch hop EP features a sci-fi feel alongside downtempo beats and as always, full of wubs.

ToneVizion started out on classical piano in his teenage years but dipped his feet into the electronic dance music genre back in 2016 at Arise Music Festival. It was here that he heard CloZee on stage and from there he was hooked.

But it was coming back from Boulder, Colorado on NYE in 2017 that he began to hear the sounds in his head that would later inspire him to begin

The EP opens up with “Wanderlust” that sets the tone for the rest of the project with beats of glitch that flow with the mellow, alien aura vibes.

“I wanted to tell the journey of what got me into music, the emotions I have felt, during some of my writing and creative processes.” Says ToneVizion about the inspiration behind the EP. The listener can feel these vibes for sure as ToneVizion writes out his musical journey.

My personal favorite is “Trippin Spaceman” as it comes midpoint through the EP and feels as if you are floating among the glitchy soundwaves of a alien spaceship.

“Celestial Sandstorm” is another track worth listening to as it features some out-of-this-intergalatic-world and melodic sounds.

The EP closes out with “Inter-Dubz” that brings the journey to an end. This track has the most unique sounds and I think that there is even a goat somewhere mixed in. These mysterious sounds make your ears prickle up in a state of lust for more.

Interdimensional Wanderlust is the perfect EP to lean back and listen as you cruise down a desert highway in search of Area 51. It is bassy, of course, at some points melodic, and groovy all the way through.

His name comes from “Synesthesia,” a sensory experience often found when music is seen as vibrant colors in the brain. Which fits his deep music and vibrant art very well. With Interdimensional Wanderlust, ToneVizion introduces himself via style, vibes, and crafted production and lets us know that there will be more on the way. And leaves us itching for him to take us on more sound journeys through the world that he has created.
