Bio
Singer, songwriter and Dove Award Nominee, Toni Becker, has a style that can best be described as unique and refreshing. Since 1981, Toni has performed all over the world as lead singer of a rock and roll band and as a solo artist. Her favorite tours were privately booked military tours playing for the troops in Europe and Asia.
In November of 2004 Toni and her band performed for two Presidential Campaign Rallies, one before a crowd of 30,000 and the pre-debate rally in St Louis.
Toni’s 2006-released CD, Storybook, was produced by her husband, Brian Becker, and thoroughly captures Toni’s amazing gift of song crafting. The engineer, Steve Dady, stated, "In my 20 years of mixing, this CD has the best combination of songs on it that I've ever worked on. Rarely do you have a project where you can't wait to get to it each day."
In 2003, she released her first original project, Thin Blue In Between. Toni also sang two lullabies on a compilation CD called “I Can Only Imagine: Lullabies For A Peaceful Rest,” which features Mercy Me’s, Bart Mallard, singing a lullaby version of “I Can Only Imagine” and other renowned artists. This work was nominated for a 2004 Dove Award. This was her second Lullaby CD, the first was 25 Songs Kids Love to Dream To with her voice singing 23 of the lullabies.
Toni performed a duet with Wayne Watson on "Every Now And Again" from The Fine Line. Plus duets on "He Knows" and "Slow Boat To China" with husband's, Brian Becker, Benson projects: Daring 2 B Different and No Longer The Wayward Son.
Toni and her family currently reside in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
